Abstract Submission

There is NO LIMITATION on the number of abstracts per participant.

LAST DATE for submission of Abstracts: 15th June 2024

All abstracts must be emailed as an MS WORD DOCUMENT attachment to ibscon2024medanta@gmail.com with the subject firstname_lastname_abstract_category.

The email must be sent from the same email ID mentioned in the registration form. Please mention whether you would like to submit abstract for poster presentation alone or oral presentation also.

If abstract has been sent for oral presentation also, decision regarding selection for oral presentation will be done by scientific committee and will be informed to you over email.

Video presentation abstracts are encouraged and will be judged in a separate award category.

Best three Oral presentations & Video Abstracts will receive Certificates and Awards.

Registration for the conference is compulsory and will be verified prior to final abstract acceptance.

In case you wish to submit an abstract first and register for the conference later, kindly note that provisional abstract selection will be informed via email after the last date for abstract submission. Final abstract selection will be done by the scientific committee only if the author/ co-author(s) have registered for the conference within 3 days of provisional selection.

We encourage participants from all Oncology centres across India and abroad with or without any Brachytherapy facility to send abstracts.



Guidelines for Abstract Submission
  • The abstract should be within 300 words (word count is excluding the title, authors names and section headings)
  • Font face: Times New Roman, size: 11 points
  • Abstract should include Title: The abstract title should be concise and describe the content
  • Authors & Institutional affiliations should be indicated as Affiliation No. following the author's name
  • Affiliation: All affiliations should contain institution, city and country
  • Body: The abstract should be structured to include a brief Introduction, Aims and Objectives, Material & methods, Results, Tables (max. 2) and Conclusions. Please do not include references in the abstract
  • A maximum of two images (including schematic figures and tables) may be included
  • List a maximum of 5 key words
  • Video Abstracts can be sent separately as an attached file with mentioning it is Video Abstract in the email in the Category


Guidelines for Video Abstract Submission
  • The author may also submit a video presentation
  • The video presenter should have been part of the operating/radiation planning team
  • The abstract should mention the details of the video, step-wise description should be provided in the given format
  • Video should not be more than 6 minutes
  • Video should be self-explanatory with added subtitles even if the presenter gets a chance to present
